My first recipe is going to be published!
I’m deeply honored to be featured alongside so many talented chefs, bartenders, and activists in this cookbook fundraiser supporting abortion access in Tennessee. Pre-orders are open through 12/21, and you can secure your copy here: bit.ly/preordercookbooks2024.
This fundraiser benefits abortion funds in Tennessee, a state with some of the strictest abortion laws in the country. It’s a privilege to contribute in even a small way toward making abortion accessible for all who need it.
My passion for abortion rights and autonomy for all birthing people runs deep, and weaving that love into Ashkelachian is truly a dream come true. On a personal note, my paternal grandmother’s family comes from the hollers of Tennessee. While I’ll always be a Carolina girl, supporting abortion access for Tennesseans holds special meaning for me—I have so much love for the state, its people, and its future.
Any guesses which recipe of mine made the cut? 💛
